How I Met My Husband: I moved to Michigan the year I turned twelve. Kevin was a member of my church, but was six and one-half years older--eighteen at the time. I knew him but not well. I babysat for his sister's children, and later my dad became the pastor of his mother's church. We would give him rides to Andrews once I started college. We both worked at the grounds department at Andrews University. One summer we both worked there--the summer before my senior year of college--and our friends went home for the summer. We started hanging out and by November were engaged
