How I Met My Husband: My husband and I first met in June 2014 at Ridgetop SDA Church. He was the new pastor and I was working with Children’s Ministry. When we met it was very awkward, because everyone at the church was teasing me even before he came to the district. A month after that I moved to Colombia, South America. Later in the year I went to the Guatemala Mission Trip and William went too. We talked a little but it was hard to keep a conversation–he didn’t seem interested in talking to me. Then I found that he was very shy. In 2015 we both went to the same mission trip. The first Sabbath I was sitting in the bus by myself and he came and sat with me. I thought to myself, this guy is very boring and we have an hour trip. So I decided to begin asking many questions just to annoy him so he would move. Well, he loved that I asked, and he talked more than ever. The bus got lost and the trip ended up taking four hours. After that we spent the whole trip together. Less than two months after that he came to Colombia and asked me to be his girl friend. He proposed on August 31, 2016, and we got married the same year on December 18!
How I Became an Adventist: : I was born in an SDA family and I was baptized when I was 13 years old at a pathfinder camporee.
What I Like to Do for Fun: Together William and I like to hike, camp, travel, read mission stories, gather with friends, and play board games
