The KYTN Conference of Seventh-day Adventist understands the work of a volunteer is essential to the successful ministry in our Churches and Schools. The local entity is responsible to select, screen and manage trustworthy individuals to fill volunteer positions in ministry for children and youth activities.

After a 6 month waiting period, those over 18 who are voted to work with children and youth, are asked to complete a criminal background check and take a child protection training test through Sterling Volunteers. This should be completed every three years.
